Q: What is Vote2cents.org?
A: A grassroots campaign to inform citizens about the role the Champaign County Forest Preserve District plays in the county, and to ask for a YES vote for a 2-cent tax levy increase for the District. Click here for more info.

Q: Why YES, Why Now?
A: With the pending closure of Illinois State Parks we need to fully support our county forest preserve NOW to help:

- Acquire land along rivers and streams to restore native prairie,
    forests, wetlands and wildlife
- Establish and maintain bicycle/horse trail between Urbana and
Kickapoo State Park on the former CSX rail line
- Repair and/or replace infrastructure essential to the safety
    and usefulness of our preserves

Q: How much will it cost me?
A: The referendum is to increase the tax levy by just 2 cents or $10 per year on a $150,000 home. If you're a renter, it doesn't affect you directly.

Q: How can I show my support?
A: Tell your friends and send them this web link. Or click on "How to Support" page for more information.
